Our PayPal alerts allow merchants to avoid certain kinds of PayPal disputes.
There are two kinds of PayPal alerts:
- Cardholder disputes with their credit card company (25%)
- Cardholder disputes directly with PayPal (75%)
The internal PayPal to PayPal disputes, i.e. where the cardholder contacts PayPal directly, are not covered by Chargeblast, as this information lives within a closed system.
However, the card network disputes are covered via Chargeblast, through a bespoke integration. By leveraging Chargeblast, merchants can null and void a subset of disputes before they ever reach PayPal.
